Cal Coast Acidizing began servicing oil producers in Ventura and Santa Maria, California, in 1966. The Orcutt Hill oilfield in Santa Maria was discovered in 1901 and was the first Giant Field (over 100 million barrels in ultimate recovery) to be found in Santa Barbara County, and its development led to the boom town of Orcutt. In 1986, we expanded the operations to Kern County, California. In 2009, we added the current location near Shafter, California; building an office, shop and yard from the ground-up. In 2011, we finalized the construction of our state-of-the-art mixing and loading facility to support our stimulation services.
